The board consists of 30 routes or fields arranged in 3 horizontal rows with 10 squares. The pieces move from left to right through row 1, then lower down and move from right to left through row 2. After a new lowering, the pieces move from left to right over row 3 and finally get off the board. The game uses Timothy Kendall's rules in the game "Pass through the Underworld: The Meaning and Play of Senet, The Ancient Egyptian Fundamental Game".
